The Neiva – MIGO SETP is part of the non-profit organization TUMI INITIATIVE as a city of the TUMI E-Bus mission since 2021, which supports the implementation of sustainable mobility worldwide, having a transformative initiative of urban mobility.

TUMI, in collaboration with the GIZ group (German Society for International Cooperation), organized a 10-day international study agenda, inviting representatives from different countries and cities in Latin America to India. Among the invited delegates were Colombia and, of course, Neiva. 

The studies and exploration focused on India's experience in electrification of public transport, fast charging infrastructure, financing of electric mobility, tangible strategies to address urban congestion and public transport safety, especially for women and transgender people. 

These relevant topics enabled interregional exchange, provided networking opportunities, connectivity and provided extensive information on successful strategies and policies in India regarding sustainability and social inclusion within public transport and its infrastructure.
